It seems these things look like the standard filled chocolate truffle made by Godiva (same size and spheroidal shape), but the filling inside the hard choclate-derivitive shell is cake as opposed to giandula or something similar. They come in several different varieties, including but not limited to Red Velvet, and seem similar in concept and execution to "cake pops" without the stick.
