cupcake business advice?

Helloo all..well this is my very first post on here as i had no idea there wud be a forum for cupcakes..are there also pple here from the UK?..ive only seen pple from new york or further away etc?.anyway..ive just started thinkin about maybe starting this up as a business thing..but dont really know where/how to start etc..and where to get all the best products from..my dad has a b'day party comin up ltr this mnth..so I might try a few pracise cakes and see if they go down well or not..also..how to come up with original ideas/themes etc?..

Im based in Sussex and have just started my own cupcake business. I found this site cause I had a couple of questions re best places to buy wholesale boxes and cello bags. Have you go to this stage yet?

Im also looking into selling at farmers markets etc but am not sure what to give the customers the cakes in as the boxes are very expensive. Have you seen anyone selling at markets and if so what did they use?
