Breaking it to my kid about dating

Does anyone else have this problem? I've had an online dating profile for a while but now I've met someone really nice that I want to go out with but I'm scared about breaking it to my 5 year old (My ex husband and I divorced when she was 2 - so she isn't that close to him). I've asked her about it before and she didn't really have any reaction but now I'm feeling like she's gonna flip out if she actually knows I start dating. Don't know what to do! We're not getting married or anything.

Well, you just have to tell it to her upfront. The last thing she and you would want is for her to find it out through other means. She is your kid and nothing can take that away from the both of you.

And whatever thing makes you happy, she will just have to stand and support you. Though you should really start with giving just hints and see how she would react.

First of all talk to her then you may decide what decision to take it.without discussing the topic why should do in that way.If she agree with you, then both of you are happy, problem is solved.
