So I finally made my FIRST batch of cupcakes in a jar and they turned out great! So much fun to make:smile: I used red velvet cupcakes and cream cheese icing. I decided to make a photo tutorial for cupcakes in a jar, here it is:

Interesting concept! I do think cupcakes in a jar loses a little something in translation because you can no longer use the top of the cupcake as a canvas, but the presentation in the Mason jar does allow for a different, more homespun presentation. And you can't beat the fact that you've made them much more transportable. :)

Those are cute, but I agree with Princess Cupcake. There's just something about one adorable beautifully decorated cupcake. I think if I wanted that much I would just eat cake. Maybe change it to cake in a jar instead?

those are cute, and your idea is good.Though we are preparing the cupcakes of different designs with different colors,my doubt is that the colors we are using in the developing the cakes does make any harm to health.

Pink.falling.stars, those are called mason jars; they're used for home canning. I'm sure just about any type of jar you can seal will do. Good way to recycle, too :)
